Mexican girls cannot dance at a public event before the age of fifteen years but can dance at family parties and school where loose (not hugging your partner).
To Christianize the Ceremony of Women, the Spanish monks put their European flair that continues to date. The Quinceañera accompanied Chamberlain to Honor and Ladies with their traditional waltz Chamberlains.
The waltz is done with traditional movements or some of the new design. Music can be live or with modern digital sound systems. "Tiempo de Vals" by the Puerto Rican Chayanne is used as an alternative to the traditional waltzes.
The Quinceañera dances her first waltz with her father or lack thereof, a relative or friend of the family.
Following is the Waltz with Sponsors although this is not a waltz. It is rather a subject of popular music that celebrated dances with sponsors changing every 20 seconds or a minute depending on the number of participating sponsors.
